Terms of service

These terms describe how QVUNTA works and what is expected of the people who use it. By using QVUNTA you agree to them.

1. What QVUNTA is

QVUNTA is project-management software for construction companies. It records projects, site evidence, costs and formal documents, and produces PDFs from the information you enter. It is a record-keeping and document-production tool.

QVUNTA is not a party to any contract you create with it, does not verify the accuracy of what you enter, and does not provide legal, accounting, engineering or surveying advice. A document produced by QVUNTA is your document.

2. Accounts

  • You must give accurate account information and keep your credentials to yourself.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One person, one account. Do not share a login.
  • You can delete your account at any time — see deleting your account.

3. Companies, roles and authority

QVUNTA is organised around a company workspace. The owner of a company controls who may join it and what they may do. Roles — owner, manager, accountant, worker and client — determine what each person can see and change, and those limits are enforced on our servers.

If you act inside a company workspace, you confirm you are authorised by that company to do so. Issuing a document, approving a variation or recording a payment in QVUNTA may have real commercial consequences; QVUNTA records the action, it does not grant you the authority to take it.

4. Clients and their access

A company may grant its client read-only access to that client's own project, including documents issued to them, and may ask them to approve or reject a variation order. A client's decision recorded in QVUNTA is a record of that decision — the underlying commercial agreement remains between the company and its client.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you put into QVUNTA — project data, photographs, documents and figures. You grant us only the permission needed to host, process, display and back up that content so the service can work, and to generate the documents you ask for.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. That includes photographs that show people, and documents belonging to third parties.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or material you have no right to.
  • Do not attempt to reach another company's data, bypass role restrictions, or probe the service for weaknesses without our written permission.
  • Do not use QVUNTA to create documents intended to deceive.
  • Do not resell or redistribute the service.

7. Payments recorded in QVUNTA

QVUNTA does not process payments and does not hold card details. The costing, payment and receipt features are a ledger of money that moved outside QVUNTA — a company recording that it paid a vendor, or that a client settled an invoice. Whether a payment actually occurred is a matter between those parties.

8. Documents, records and integrity

Some records are deliberately permanent. Issued documents, approvals and audit trails are not editable — they can be superseded, revised, revoked or voided, and the history remains. This is what makes them worth something as evidence. Do not rely on being able to erase a record after the fact.

Certificates may carry a QR code leading to a public verification page. That page confirms only the issuer, the document number and its current status.

9. Availability

We aim to keep QVUNTA available and to protect your data, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party infrastructure faults and events outside our control can interrupt it. Keep your own copies of anything critical to your business.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access that breaches these terms or that puts the service or other users at risk. You may stop using QVUNTA and delete your account at any time. A company's records remain with that company unless it asks us to close the workspace.

11. Liability

QVUNTA is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from information you entered, decisions you took, or documents you issued using the service.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes

If these terms change we will update the date above and signal material changes in the app. Continuing to use QVUNTA after that means you accept the change.
